After more than a decade of research and development, Ecocem ACT is reaching an important milestone.
The Parker & Baker development in Chessy, near Paris, is the first major residential project anywhere in the world to use concrete made with ACT across every concrete element of the development.
Comprising 147 apartments and four houses, the project is using approximately 9,000m³ of concrete made with ACT, produced from a dedicated on-site batching plant.
As construction progresses, the project is demonstrating how low-carbon cement can be deployed at commercial scale using existing supply chains, construction methods and infrastructure.
