It is an opportunity to reflect on what we’ve achieved together over the past 25 years, and reaffirm our shared purpose to decarbonise cement, which is responsible for almost 8% of CO2 emissions globally.
Our latest breakthrough innovation, ACT, provides up to a 70% reduction in CO2 compared to traditional cement. ACT is cost-effective and uses locally sourced materials and existing construction methods, making it a practical and scalable way to lower the carbon impact of cement.
With this technology, we can help decarbonise the cement industry by 2040, ten years ahead of global targets, and without reliance on carbon capture.
