Who We Are

Our operations and facilities in Ireland

First and foremost, we are innovators. We challenge ourselves to invent breakthrough technologies.

Located in the heart of Dublin since 2003, Ecocem Ireland work with some of the world’s best materials-focused universities, such as University College Dublin and Trinity College Dublin amongst others to help us realise our mission.

From Bill Gates-led Breakthrough Energy Ventures (BEV), to ArcelorMittal, the world’s leading steel company, and Saint-Gobain Group, a global sustainable materials group, our strategic investors all recognise the power of our innovation and help guide our global ambitions.

And by partnering with some of the most innovative companies within the construction sector, (such as Vinci, Eiffage, and Bouygues,) we have been able to scale our technologies and supply chain to supply some of the largest and greenest infrastructure projects ever undertaken in the EU.

Our Mission and Vision

Our mission is to build a sustainable future by leading the way with low carbon cement technology.

Ecocem is here to accelerate decarbonisation in the construction sector. How? By developing, breakthrough low-carbon products for the concrete and cement industries. We’ve been pioneers for over 20 years, including helping to develop the lowest carbon cement ever used in Europe at scale. You’ll find our cement everywhere from Le Grand Paris to Dublin’s Aviva Stadium.

We’re proudly independent, run our own world-class innovation centre and have four manufacturing facilities across Europe. We’re committed to working with the cement industry to reduce emissions by 50% by 2030 and believe our technology and products can play a key role in building a more sustainable future for all.

We aim to decarbonise the global cement industry. It’s a bold and achievable vision. Working with motivated partners, we will make it happen.
