The outdoor learning facility in Mount Anville School involved the demolition of the existing two-storey flat-roofed building and the construction of a new 2 storey IT Building complete with high-spec fit-out and mechanical and electrical installations with a glazed link to the existing building.
The project also involved the conversion of the ground floor of the convent into an exhibition space. The project included the construction of a new precast concrete outdoor amphitheater which was provided by Banagher Precast Concrete. Ecocem GGBS was specified at 50% across this project.
Mount Anville School was awarded the Elemental Award Winner at the Irish Concrete Society’s 33rd Annual Awards.
